This site is maintained by Marja Repo / LKV Marja Repo, RE/MAX Classic (later referred to as “I”). This privacy policy details how I collect and process your personal information as a register keeper on this page or on other services that I provide for you as our customer.

1.     Your personal information

During your visit to this page I will automatically collect the following personal details:

  • Information about webpages that you visited within this

  • The date and time of your visit

  • Your IP address 

  • The type of browser that you use

  • The website (URL) that you were visiting before entering this site and

  • select cookies (read chapter below)

In addition to this I collect all of the information that you provide me with by using the website.

I also collect some personal information alongside my realtor practice. I get this information either directly from you or by gathering it alongside the real estate service I provide you with. In this purpose I collect the following information:

  • your name,

  • phone number,

  • your assignment and the information pertaining to it

  • information about your financial situation for me to be able to manage real estate transactions, offers or other legal acts,

  • information pertaining to individual real estate industry transactions, including information about payments, bank accounts and payments traffic.

In cases where I ask for your consent to use your personal details you have no obligation to do so, but if the information isn’t given you can’t use all of the services provided on the website and you will not get full utility of my real estate services.

2. Cookies, Google Analytics, Facebook and AddThis-extensions


2.1.        Cookies

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file that can be installed on your device as you’re visiting the site. Cookies are most often used when visitors of the site are offered extra features on the site. For example, they can be created to track your visit to the webpage or to aid navigation on the site helping you return to your designated location and to remember your favourites and other settings when you revisit the page. These cookies cannot use, read or edit any other files on your computer.

Most of the cookies used on this site are so called session cookies. They will be removed automatically from your device as you leave the website. 2.2. Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies for us to analyze how you use this webpage. The data created by the cookie used by the site is transferred and saved to servers in the United States at Google. If this site makes IP-addresses anonymous, Google cuts off the IP-address in an EU member state or in a different EEA-state before sending it to the United States. Only in an exceptional situation is the entire IP address sent to Google’s servers in the USA and then cut off there. 2.3. Facebook extensions (the Like button)

Our webpage integrates with social media extensions run by Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA. Typical attributes to Facebook extensions are the Facebook logo or the “Like-button” (“Like”) on our webpage. An overview of Facebook extensions is available here:

​When you are visiting on our site, the extension forms a connection between the Facebook server and the browser. Facebook will therefore be notified that you have visited our webpage based on your IP address. If you click on Facebook’s ”Like” button while logged on in Facebook, you can link the webpage content to your Facebook profile. This way Facebook can compare the visit on our webpage with your username. We must note that we as the provider of this webpage have no data concerning the contents of information sent to Facebook or how Facebook uses it. 2.4. AddThis extension

Our webpage also uses the social bookmarking extension named “AddThis”, provided by Oracle Corporation, 500 Oracle Parkway, Redwood Shores, CA 94065 ("Oracle"). Through AddThis Oracle offers us services on web analysis. AddThis uses cookies for the functions described. Oracle collects information, like your IP address or your behaviour on our web page to evaluate the use of the webpage and gathers anonymous reports on the operation of the webpage. Oracle uses this data to offer you targeted marketing. Oracle can transfer the collected information on their server or to third parties outside the EU or EEA.

3.     The purpose of your data

I use your personal data to offer this webpage for your use, to create statistics related to webpage use, to improve and develop this webpage, to offer you realtor services, to answer to your replies and messages; to send to you our newsletter if you have subscribed to it, to contact you regarding real estate or services that might interest you, and to analyze your compiled information to develop our business.

4.     The legal basis for the processing of your data

The legal basis for the processing of your data is justified in the f-subsection of section 1 of the sixth article of the EU law on data protection, also known as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

If I process some of your personal information that I have collected during the real estate service process, the legal basis is formed due to the necessity of processing them in order to me to be able to fulfil the mutually agreed contract. (Article6(1)(b) GDPR). In addition to this I can potentially transfer your information in accordance with text below section 5 (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) based on your exclusive consent. When you are exclusively asked for consent, you can revoke your consent at any moment. However, this does not affect the legal basis of processing your information based on your consent before its revocation.

5.     Disclosure and transfer of information

If it is absolutely necessary in the purpose mentioned above, I will transfer your personal information to the following recipients:

  • To the person, who owns or operates the single franchising company that I work in (“RE/MAX Diili”), its’ franchising provider (REF Real Estate Franchises Oy ,“RE/MAX Suomi”), and its’ franchising provider, REAL ESTATE FRANCHISING, INC., Alpenstrasse 15, Postfach 7863, CH-6302, Zug, Switzerland (“RE/MAX Europe”);

  • To banks, if it is necessary for the real estate service or to complete a real estate transaction,

  • To government officials, if it is necessary for the real estate service or fulfilment of the transaction,

  • To third parties involved in the real estate business (for example an attesting notary),

6.     Periods of data preservation

We automatically preserve the data collected from your visit to our page for not more than six months. If you have subscribed to my newsletter, I will preserve your email address until you revoke the subscription to my newsletter.

If you have registered onto our webpage, your information will be preserved for as long as your account exists and after that only as long as there are legal obligations to preserving your data.

In addition to this I will preserve your personal information that I will collect during the real estate service process and over time at least until the end of our financial co-operation after that as long as the legal obligations so demand or until the timeframe for a lawsuit has expired.

7.     Your rights and legal remedy

In accordance with the applicable privacy policy legislation you have (i) a right to verify if and what personal information we have collected from you and to request for access to this information or to request a copy of it, (ii) to request the correction, completion or removal of your personal information, if they are inaccurate or they haven’t been processed according to the applicable requirements, (iii) request to limit the collection, processing or use of your personal information, (iv) in certain situations object to the processing of your personal information for justified reasons, (vi) know the third-parties, to whom your personal information is being transferred (vii) and give guidelines to how your personal information must be processed after your death, if it is appropriate. In viable complaints you also have the right to file a complaint directly to a competent data privacy official.
